Key Government and Private Sector “Reformers” Reveal New Ways of Managing Natural Resource Issues

The George Washington University Law School hosted a unique conference in late September 2018, bringing together industrial company managers, government decision-makers, faculty and other academic researchers, and others to examine the law and the science of current natural resource damages (NRD) practice under US laws and ways to enhance efficiency, maximize benefits, foster private/public partnerships, support innovation, and more. This article highlights the key observations and themes identified during the two-day program that will be of interest to NRD liability, assessment, and restoration practitioners.
