EPA Emergency Response Plan for Chemical Release during the Hurricane Season

Though experienced tropical forecasters anticipated that the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season would be quiet, the season has had devastating impacts. Extreme weather, including high winds, storm surge, and heavy rains, creates environmental and public health threats. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and government agencies, including the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), are prepared to respond.
