The Indiana Court of Appeals ruled in April 2019 that the Right to Farm Act (Act) will protect farmers against nuisance suits in Himsel v. Himsel, Case No. 18A-PL-645 (Apr. 22, 2019) (Himsel), where the facts justify application of the law. Todd Janzen and Brianna Schroeder represented the Indiana Agricultural Law Foundation (IALF) in the case and filed several briefs explaining the Right to Farm Act, Ind. Code 32-30-6-9.
