Registration Fee
To register for the Summer Council, go here. The registration fee is $200 per person for all Council member participants. This fee includes all of Friday’s meals including that evening’s dinner. If you are bringing a guest(s), there will be an option to buy guest dinner tickets ($125) when you register.
Summer Council Meeting RSVP
To assist planning, please complete the online RSVP form. On this online form you can indicate how many in your party will attend the various food functions. On this form, you should also please indicate if you will seek reimbursement of allowable travel expenses. Please complete this form by Monday, June 19, 2023.

Hotel Reservations
There is no room block for this Council Meeting. There are many hotels near the meeting site, two of which offer a Blakes discount. You may get a discount by mentioning “Blakes” when making your room reservation (by phone call). Some hotels in the area are sold out on Saturday night, so please make your reservations early.

Transportation
Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is the closest major airport, 12 miles northwest of the meeting. Council Travel Reimbursements
Reimbursement is available for attendance at the 2023 Summer Council Meeting. Please indicate on your RSVP response if you plan on claiming reimbursement per the Section's reimbursement policy. No travel reimbursement is available to committee chairs.
Council Members:
- For government, academic, non-governmental organizations, or retired Council members, reimbursement is limited to lodging for up to two nights for room rates of $400 CAN before tax/fees plus up to $500 USD towards airfare.
- Private practitioners may claim up to $500 USD worth of lodging and airfare expenses.
A reimbursement form will be sent in a future email. You will need to please use this form to claim your expenses and submit the completed form with receipts for payment no later than two weeks after the council meeting.
