The schedule has been changed from previous years. All Section-related activities will take place on Friday and Saturday. No Section activities are planned for Sunday.

SATURDAY DINNER REGISTRATION
The Section Leadership Dinner will be held at E&O Kitchen and Bar. The dinner will take place Saturday evening following the Section's Business Meeting. Tickets are $95 per person and can be purchased when registering for the ABA Annual Meeting. Please purchase your ticket(s) by Monday, July 29.

SUMMER COUNCIL MEETING RSVP
To assist planning, please complete the online RSVP form. On this online form you can indicate how many in your party will attend the various food functions. On this form, you should also please indicate if you will seek reimbursement of allowable travel expenses. Please complete this form by Friday, July 15, 2019.

ANNUAL MEETING REGISTRATION
There are several registration options available for the ABA Annual. Registration rates range from $95 for ABA Limited Registration to $495 for ABA All-Access Registration. Full details are available at:

ANNUAL MEETING HOUSING
The only way you can to take advantage of the special negotiated ABA hotel rates is by registering for the Annual Meeting. To register for the ABA Annual Meeting visit www.xpressreg.net/register/abaa0819

After registering for the meeting, follow the directions in your email confirmation to receive ABA discounted hotel room rates. This is a new process: you may book the hotel of your choice directly by using the link or phone number provided in your meeting confirmation. Council members seeking reimbursement may stay at any of the hotels in the ABA housing block.

COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA AND REPORT DEADLINES
The template for council reports is composed of the following three sections:
(1) "Summary Paragraph", which is a paragraph summarizing the key points of the report;
(2) "Action Items" from the report for proposed Council action at the Council meeting; and
(3) the body of the report, which must not exceed five pages. 

Because of the five-page report limit, if you'd like council to have any full special committee report you may send it to Dana Jonusaitis. It will be added to library of the Executive Committee and Council SEER Connect Community.

  • Service Group Officers and Council Liaisons should set their own report deadlines to those committees that they oversee.
