Letter from the Editor

Brian A. Rosenblatt

“The Future is unwritten.”—Joe Strummer

Dear Forum Members,

Welcome to Issue 38:1 of the Entertainment and Sports Lawyer! It’s been a brutal 2 years, but we are getting through it. With life returning to a semblance of “normalcy”, we recognize that it is the work that our members perform that allows the rest of the world to enjoy that normalcy. We take great pride in our members’ accomplishments; even though much of our work is behind-the-scenes, the fruits of our labor are shared by all.

We are excited for this issue. We have a few new authors, a few returning authors, and several incredible, and poignant, articles.

As always, if you have any interest in writing for the Journal, or working with us as an editor, please let me know! We are actively seeking articles from authors for the Journal. I encourage anyone interested to reach out to me and submit articles. We welcome submissions from any and all authors. The Author Guidelines can be found at: http://www.americanbar.org/content/dam/aba/publications/entertainment_sports_lawyer/esl16authorguidelines.authcheckdam.pdf . The pending deadlines for article submissions are:

  • Spring 2022 (38:2) (anticipated April Publishing) March 10, 2022
  • Summer 2022 (38:3) (anticipated August Publishing) June 10, 2022
  • Fall 2022 (38:4) (anticipated December Publishing) September 10, 2022

Please, share with me your ideas for the Journal.

Best,

Brian A. Rosenblatt
