Governing Committee and Leadership Meeting
March 24-25, 2017

321 North Clark Street
21st Floor
Chicago, IL

Preliminary Information

  • Agenda Items (due March 6, 2017)
  • RSVP (due March 13 -- RSVP Form to be distributed shortly)

Hospitality Committee

  • Travis Life
  • Brian Rosenblatt

Reimbursement

  • Hotel: 2 days at the hotel for up to $175/night ($350 total)
  • Airline: Maximum $400 based on the lowest available coach airfare with 21 days advance reservation. (The ABA offers airfare discounts here)
  • Ground Transportation: Maximum roundtrip $100. The train to and from Midway and O'Hare airport is $5 per way (Blue Line to/from O'Hare and Orange Line to/from Midway). You will want to get off the train at Lake/Clark (Thompson Center) or Dearborn Steet. Walk North over the Wacker Drive Chicago River Bridge (2 blocks). From Clark/Lake, the ABA building is the first building after you cross the bridge on the East Side (note: if you ever get lost, Lake Michigan -- no buildings -- is East). The Westin is immediate behind the ABA Building, across from the House of Blues on Dearborn and the Marina Towers Plaza (referred to as the corn-cob buildings).  Important: Do not ride the train late at night. If you are arriving to Chicago after 8:00pm take a cab. Between 3:00pm and 7:00pm or between 7:00am and 10am, the train is your best bet as a cab can cost $65+ due to rush hour traffic and take you as much as 2 hours to get to the city.
  • Rental Cars: No reimbursable
  • Chicago Residents: Mileage and Parking
  • Overall: Reimbursement cap: $850.
