Sylvie Epstein

Program Coordinator

Sylvie Epstein is a Program Coordinator with the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a major in Gender and Health and a minor in the History of Medicine. She served as a member of the University of Michigan’s Sexual Awareness Prevention Center (SAPAC) where she facilitated group discussions, volunteer trainings, and presented to students and faculty about sexual violence on campus. She also served on the Board for the University of Michigan Heathy Relationships Study. Most recently, Sylvie worked as an Intern at GirlForward, supporting high school-aged refugee girls who were recently resettled in the U.S. Sylvie is passionate about women’s rights and the importance of education as a tool for positive change.
