Former San Francisco Public Defender, Stephen Zollman represented San Francisco youth for eight and a half years and adults for three and a half, with many cases involving domestic violence and sexual assault. After leaving the San Francisco Public Defender's Office, he worked at a nonprofit representing other Veterans, a statewide disability rights agency and as a parent dependency attorney. Stephen is a former ABA Family Law Section Domestic Violence Chair and Vice-Chair of the Vulnerable Adults Committee. He is an Army Veteran.
He currently focuses on representing low income survivors of domestic violence in child custody proceedings, both domestic and international. He serves as an advisory board member to his county's Nurse Family Partnership and continues to help staff a Veteran's free legal clinic at his local VA Clinic. He is involved with several social justice movements.
