Natalie Haag

Natalie is General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Executive Vice President of Capitol Federal® Savings Bank.

Natalie has been a member of the Kansas Bar since 1985 and licensed to practice law in all Kansas State and Federal Courts, she received her undergraduate degree in 1982 from Kansas State University and her Juris Doctorate in 1985 from Washburn University School of Law.

Prior to joining Capitol Federal she served as in-house counsel for Security Benefit Corporation; General Counsel, Director of Governmental Affairs and Chief of Staff to Governor Bill Graves; Director of the State Gaming Agency; and Executive Director of the Board of Indigents Defense Services. Prior to that position, she worked with the State of Kansas, serving five of her seven years as General Counsel to the Governor.

Natalie’s practice also includes ten years of criminal prosecution and civil litigation. A Leadership Kansas graduate, Haag volunteers for the Kansas Bar Association (KBA), Topeka Swim Association, Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence and the Supreme Court Nominating Commission. She has been honored with the KBA Outstanding Service Award, TSA Dedicated Service Award, Washburn University School of Law Alumni Fellow Award, YMCA Woman of Excellence Award and the Security Benefit Living the Values Award for Community Service.

Natalie is a past President of the Kansas Bar Association, and she currently serves as one of the Kansas Bar Association Delegates to the ABA House of Delegates.
