Anne Crews serves as Vice President, Public Affairs, Mary Kay Inc. Anne lobbies to propose, oppose or amend legislation and regulations impacting corporate operations, the Mary Kay Independent sales force and employees affiliated with Mary Kay Inc. She develops relationships to form coalitions that foster corporate interest. She is responsible for such activities related to Mary Kay operations throughout the European Region, and advocates on the U.S. local, state and federal levels.
Anne joined Mary Kay Inc. in 1983 as Coordinator, Public Affairs. She previously served as Deputy Press Secretary to Texas Governor Bill Clements following her work as a television news reporter/anchor at KMID-TV in Midland, Texas. Anne earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College. On behalf of Mary Kay Inc., Anne works with the U.S. Personal Care Products Council, the U.S. Direct Selling Association and Seldia, the European Direct Selling Association. She is a Member, Board of Directors, Public Affairs Council.
Anne is Mary Kay Inc.’s liaison to the American Bar Association Commission on Domestic & Sexual Violence and chairs Dallas County Family Violence Prevention Council. She serves on the Board of Directors of The Mary Kay Ash Foundation. She chairs the Board of the Transit Coalition of North Texas.
