Anna M. Romanskaya is a Partner with Stark & D’Ambrosio, LLP in San Diego, CA where she manages the firm’s family law division. She represents clients in all aspects of family law, including restraining orders, pre and post marital agreements, marital dissolutions, child custody, child and spousal support, property division and post judgment issues. Anna is an activist and avid public speaker on victim advocacy and youth issues, particularly in the areas of domestic and sexual violence and healthy relationships. She uses her background in crisis intervention and negotiation to offer her clients passionate and empathetic representation as they work through the emotional challenges of their family law matters. Anna is well-respected for her client advocacy and collegial relationships with opposing counsels and the court.
Anna is the 2016-2017 Chair of the ABA Young Lawyers Division and serves as a Delegate in the ABA House of Delegates. Anna is a proud Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and serves as a co-chair of the Fellows for Southern California. Anna’s prior ABA Presidential Appointments have included the ABA Standing Committee on Group and Prepaid Legal Services, ABA Center for Human Rights, Advisory Council, and the ABA Standing Committee on Bar Activates and Services.
Anna devotes much of her time in mentoring younger lawyers and law students and engaging in developing programming and trainings on personal development and professional advancement. She is a past recipient of the San Diego County Bar Association’s distinguished Service Award for her contribution to continuing legal education for the legal community and has been recognized as a SuperLawer® continuously since 2015.
Anna is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara where she double-majored in Political Science and Law and Society. She received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, CA and is admitted to the State Bar of California, the U.S. District Court, Southern District of California, and the District of Columbia. In her free time, Anna enjoys road cycling, reading and spending time with friends and family. She has an embarrassing amount of “character” coffee mugs and enjoys cooking and traveling.
