In Introduction to Trauma-Informed Representation, attendees will learn about the importance of trauma-informed legal representation. Topics will include the basic neurobiology of trauma;  symptoms of trauma and trauma responses impacting clients; the application of trauma-informed principles to legal practice; and the personal and professional impact of vicarious trauma.

In Introduction to Trauma-Informed Legal Organizations, attendees will learn to identify the characteristics and benefits of a trauma-informed workplace; understand ten areas in which an organization can implement trauma-informed practices; and recognize some steps to create a trauma-informed workplace. 

  • Space is limited & priority will be given to OVW grantees.
  • No MCLE credits will be provided.
  • There is no fee to attend these webinars.
