Part 2: Persuasive Legal Writing Skills for Effective Gender-Based Violence Advocacy | Thursday, May 23, 2024 (2:00-3:30 p.m. ET | 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. PT)

This series will be presented by Southwestern Law School Professor and Commission member Maleaha Brown.

In Part 1, attendees will learn about the elusive art of clear and concise legal writing through an interactive skills practice. At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will understand how to implement effective legal writing skills to clearly advocate for survivors of gender-based violence

In Part 2, attendees will learn about the art of persuasive written advocacy. At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will develop effective strategies and techniques to craft compelling narratives of gender-based violence.

  • This webinar series is open to attorneys only.
  • Space is limited & priority will be given to OVW grantees.
  • No MCLE credits will be provided.
