Trauma-Informed Representation Institute

August 25-26, 2025 (12:00 - 4:00 p.m. ET | 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PT) via live Zoom Sessions | Draft Agenda

During this two half-day Institute, participants will gain understanding of the impacts of trauma on survivors from diverse communities and backgrounds, and recognize and mitigate trauma impacts during client meetings and litigation processes.  Participants will also learn to recognize secondary trauma impacts in themselves and their teams and create strategies to mitigate and address those effects. 

  • The Trauma-Informed Representation Institute is open to all legal staff.
  • There is no cost to attend this training.
  • Priority will be given to OVW grantees.
  • No CLE credits will be provided. 
  • Registration will remain open through Monday, August 11, 2025, or until the training has reached capacity.
