What work do you do with the Commission?

Training, technical assistance, developing supportive materials, and strategic consulting.

What is your favorite part of teaching with the Commission?

The unbelievably skilled and engaging co-teachers that the Commission recruits.

What are your areas of expertise or what areas are particularly interesting to you?

Confidentiality, trial practice, appellate argument, client relationship skills (listening, interviewing, communicating), language justice, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. 

Share one thing you have learned, big or small, doing your work over the past year?

When people think they are asking questions about the law, they are usually asking questions about working relationships.

How does the Commission support the work of gender-based violence attorneys?

By creating space to discuss and design best practice then supporting people to implement it locally.

What is something you are looking forward to in the future?

Taking out my new paddleboard when warm weather hits.
