Linda Chanow was named the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree by the Texas Minority Counsel Program. As executive director of the Center for Women in Law (CWIL), Ms. Chanow convenes leaders and top academics at CWIL’s biennial Women’s Power Summit on Law and Leadership and oversees the Women in Law Institute, a training program for female law students and judicial clerks that provides them with critical skills to successfully navigate their careers. She serves as CWIL liaison to the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession.
Wendi S. Lazar has been named one of the New York Law Journal’s 2016 (and first) group of “Top Women in Law.” A partner of Outten & Golden LLP and co-chair of its executives and professionals practice group, her practice focuses on executive agreements, including retention, expatriate, noncompetition, talent, severance, and compensation arrangements. Ms. Lazar is a member of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession and co-chair of its sexual harassment and gender-based bullying committee. She was one of the leaders who successfully advocated before the ABA’s House of Delegates in August 2016 for a new ethics rule barring discrimination and harassment.
