Roberta Liebenberg Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

On May 20, Roberta D. (Bobbi) Liebenberg will receive the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award presented by The Legal Intelligencer, a daily law journal on Pennsylvania legal news and America’s oldest law journal. The award is given to lawyers who have had a distinct impact on the legal profession in Pennsylvania and have helped to shape the law in the state, whether through the judiciary, assisting persons who need legal services, building a firm, or other means.

Liebenberg is a senior partner at Fine, Kaplan and Black, R.P.C., in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she focuses her practice on class actions, antitrust, and complex commercial litigation. She served as chair of the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession from 2008–2011 and 2013–2014 and chair of the ABA Task Force on Gender Equity. Liebenberg is a founder and current chair of DirectWomen, whose mission is to increase the representation of women on corporate boards. Liebenberg was named by the National Law Journal as one of its 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America.
