SWORDS TO PLOWSHARES.
This webinar provides guidance and step-by-step application instructions to pursue a military discharge upgrade/correction for those separated under Don’t Ask Don’t Tell (DADT) and previous discriminatory policies. The webinar provides similar guidance and instructions for correcting military discharge paperwork to reflect the legal name today for trans-identified veterans who served under a different name.
This webinar is useful to legal practitioners, veteran service officers, individual veterans, and anyone who is interested in learning more about the real-world application of the policy changes that resulted from DADT repeal.

in conjunction with the
MODERN MILITARY ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA
(Formerly OUTSERVE-SLDN).
This webinar is an in-depth discussion of the process to upgrade/correct military discharge documents and explains generally how that process may be used to help trans-identified veterans in changing the name and gender marker on their military records, and LGBTQ+ veterans who were discharged under Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and prior policies in removing the offensive evidence of those policies from their discharge paperwork.
This program is part of ABA President Linda Klein’s veteran’s service projects.
