Hon. Jacqueline Nguyen is the first Vietnamese American to serve as federal judge and the first Asian American female federal appellate judge.. She currently serves as Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Prior to her service in the Ninth Circuit, she served as Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, and the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.
