Richard Nenno


Nationally Known Estate Planner

A national speaker and published authority on estate planning with over 35 years of experience, Richard W. Nenno, Esquire, is a Managing Director and Trust Counsel in Wealth Advisory at Wilmington Trust Company in Wilmington, Delaware.  He enjoys most working with attorneys throughout the United States. He speaks frequently at major estate planning conferences and is an author and co-author of many articles and legal texts.

Dick graduated cum laude from Princeton University, earning an A.B. degree from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.  He went on to earn his J.D. from Harvard Law School.  Dick is admitted to the practice of law in Delaware and Pennsylvania.  

Dick, who was born legally blind, has learned over time what accommodations lend themselves best to the work he does. He uses Braille, has screen-reading software on his PC, and works with sighted readers.  He also has a computer with a Braille display.  Does he always disclose his disability?  "In situations where disclosure is necessary."
