Paul E. Johnson is an Associate Director in the Career Services Office at UIC John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Paul counsels students and alumni on career planning, job search strategies, résumé and cover letter drafting, and interviewing skills. He also oversees and manages the Fall Recruiting Program. Before joining the Career Services Office, Paul worked as a recruiter with Robert Half Executive Search and as a project fulfillment manager with Robert Half Legal’s consulting solutions practice. Before his career with Robert Half, Paul served as Business Development Manager and Assistant Legal Counsel at Lakeshore Interactive LLC in Chicago. Additionally, while earning his LLM, Paul served as a privacy analyst for Aon Corporation, where he advised the company on privacy issues affecting its North American business units. Paul holds a JD and an LLM in Information Technology & Privacy Law from The John Marshall Law School, and a BA in Political Science, Spanish, and Textile and Apparel Management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is very active in the American Bar Association Section of International Law and volunteers on the board of the Chicago Composers Orchestra. Currently, Paul is pursuing a Master of Urban Planning and Policy degree from UIC's College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs and hopes to use this training to improve transit accessibility for people with disabilities.
