This symposium will explore the legal challenges facing Latinos in the U.S., as highlighted in the ABA Hispanic Commission’s recent report entitled, “Latinos in the United States: Overcoming Legal Obstacles, Engaging in Civic Life.” This half-day event will examine critical issues in education, employment, racial justice, and economic integration. Experts, advocates, and legal professionals will discuss systemic barriers, emerging legal trends, and actionable solutions to ensure equity and justice for Latino communities.
This symposium is co-sponsored by the American Bar Association Commission on Hispanic Legal Rights and Responsibilities, the Aioki Center, the Latinx Law Student Association, and the Cruz Reynoso Bar Association.
Reception to follow with art exhibit.
