Description
This program will address equal access to justice, and various issues relating to labor and employment particularly in the Latino community. This is one of several regional meetings to discuss the ABA Hispanic Commission's recently issues report entitled "Latinos in the United States: Overcoming Legal Obstacles, Engaging in Civic Life."
The Panelists will take a deeper look at some of the report's key findings about enhancing visibility and civic participation, restoring confidence in the rule of law, addressing barriers faced by immigrants and the status of DEI initiatives in education and employment.
This program is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Hispanic Bar Association, Rutgers Law School's Association for Latin American Law Students and Institute for Professional Education, and Seton Hall Law’s Latin American Law Students Association. Reception to follow.
