Andrew J. Demetriou

Andrew J. Demetriou practices law with Lamb & Kawakami, LLP in Los Angeles, California and is also a Consulting Expert with Berkeley Research Group, LLC, an international consulting firm. His law practice involves the representation of health care providers and entities that provide services to the healthcare industry on corporate transactions, corporate governance and regulatory matters. He consults to healthcare industry participants on strategic transactions and affiliations.

Andy currently serves as a member of the Council of the ABA Fund for Justice and Education and a liaison to the Working Group on Practice Forward.  He was a member of the ABA Board of Governors, representing District 14 (California), and the House of Delegates from 2018-2021.  He previously served on the Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee and the Standing Committee on Meetings and Travel from 2014 to 2017. 

He is a former Chair of the ABA Health Law Section (2007-08) and has led a number of Section initiatives and programs related to healthcare reform legislation, including a Section Task Force that analyzed the legislative antecedents of what became the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. He regularly participates on panels concerning health care reform, professional responsibility and health care transactions for the Section.  He is also a member of the Sections of Science and Technology, Business Law and Civil Rights and Social Justice. 

Andy obtained his law degree in 1979 from the University of California Berkeley School of Law, where he graduated as a member of Order of the Coif and served as the Research and Books Editor for the Ecology Law Quarterly.  He served as an extern to Judge Charles B. Renfrew of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in 1978.  He is a 1976 graduate of the University of California Los Angeles, with a degree in Economics, summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  

Eileen M. Letts

Eileen Letts is a premier civil trial attorney and is the Chief Administrative  Partner and Chairperson of the Litigation Department at Zuber Lawler LLP. Prior to her current role, she served as Co-Managing Partner of Greene and Letts.  

Ms. Letts is a frequent presenter at continuing legal education seminars and panel discussions of the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Ms. Letts has a national reputation for her dedication and efforts relating to diversity & inclusion.  She served as Co-Chair of past ABA President Paulette Brown’s 360 Commission, 2015-2016 where she was responsible for the implementation of Diversity & Inclusion Goals. With Paulette Brown and Destiny Peery, she co-authored “Left Out and Left Behind: The Hurdles, Hassles, and Heartaches of Achieving Long-Term Legal Careers for Women of Color,” (June 22, 2020). 

Ms. Letts was listed as a “Top 50 Women in Law” in the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin (2021) and also received The ABA’s Margaret Brent Award (2018); the John Paul Stevens (2016), Earl B. Dickerson (2008) Distinguished Service awards from the Chicago Bar Association.

Orlando Lucero

Orlando Lucero is the New Mexico State Underwriting Counsel for the Fidelity National Title Group.  Previously Orlando worked as New Mexico Underwriting Counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company, and as a commercial escrow officer at Stewart Title of Albuquerque and at First American Title Insurance Company. Before going into the title insurance business in 2003, Orlando was in private practice, primarily focusing on real estate and business transactions. Orlando attained his Bachelor’s from Stanford University and his J.D. from Stanford Law School.

Orlando is known as “the Bow Tie Guy” for his exclusive wearing of bow ties. He is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and a frequent national and local speaker and writer on numerous topics related to real estate transactions, title insurance, and business entities. Orlando has been an Adjunct Professor at the UNM Anderson School of Business, where he has taught a commercial real estate course. 

Orlando has served on the ABA Board of Governors and currently serves as a Delegate to the House of Delegates from the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE). He has had many roles at the ABA and is a co-creator of the ABA’s “Llaves de mi Casa” (Keys to my House) video that provides information to first-time homebuyers in Spanish and English. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Hispanic Bar Association. Orlando is an active member of the Albuquerque community, and his philanthropic interests focus on the arts and education.

C. Edward Rawl

Edward Rawl is the Senior Director of Ethics in Boeing’s Law & Global Compliance organization. Edward leads a team responsible for monitoring systemic and localized compliance risks and leveraging intelligence to developing solutions in partnership with business leaders across the enterprise. In addition, his team audits the effectiveness of risk mitigation efforts ensuring solutions are effective and enduring.

Edward previously served a Senior Counsel in Boeing’s Law Department, working on a wide range of matters across the enterprise with a deep focus on organized labor, employment disputes, and effective workforce planning. Prior to joining Boeing in 2016, Edward was a partner at large national law firm located in Columbia, South Carolina.

Edward is a founding member of Boeing’s 20-member Racial Equity Task Force advising the Company’s senior most leaders on matters related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, driving systemic improvements across the globe.

Edward is a native South Carolinian. He received his undergraduate degree from the Univ. of South Carolina and his law degree from the Univ. of South Carolina School of Law. He is "AV" rated by Martindale-Hubbell, received the Compleat Lawyer Award from the Univ. of South Carolina School of Law, previously served on the board of the American Bar Association, and is the former chair of the Employment and Labor Law Section of the South Carolina Bar.
