The 2022 Homeless Court Summit will be held September 12-13 in Washington DC and will convene key regional and national stakeholders for the first national training on the East Coast. The Summit will lay the foundation for greater understanding and replication of homeless courts across the U.S. as well as helping new and existing homeless courts better serve their clients, bringing new stakeholders to the conversation, and strengthening the national network. To learn more please contact Kelly Russo at [email protected] or visit us online.
Learn More - About the SummitContact with the justice system can impede access to housing, employment, education, and more, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and homelessness for many Americans. With your gift, the Commission, through its Homeless Court Program, will help resolve convictions, fines and fees, and custody by ‘bringing the courts to the streets’ to better connect individuals to services and break down legal barriers.
You can help bring together shelters and the justice system to resolve legal issues so that those struggling with homelessness have access to justice and can begin to rebuild their lives. To become a sponsor please contact Kelly Russo at [email protected].
For more information on the Summit please contact Kelly Russo at [email protected] or (202) 662-1699.
