Ukrainian legal leaders and the ABA are building on our collaborative rule of law projects. With your gift, ABA ROLI, through its existing networks on the ground in Ukraine, will support individuals and local civil society organizations to contribute to evidence collection of atrocity and war crimes in real-time as the Russian invasion into Ukraine unfolds.
Help mobilize pro bono attorneys to provide legal services to Afghans currently displaced in third countries in navigating complex and mutable processes as they seek permanent resettlement in the United States or other host country destinations. The Afghanistan Response Project draws upon more than 30 years of international development experience and offices in more than 50 countries to provide pro bono support to Afghan judges and lawyers in refugee camps seeking permanent homes for themselves and their families.
For 30 years and in more than 100 countries, the ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) builds judicial systems and legal professions in developing democracies, combats slavery and human trafficking, assists refugees and internally displaced persons, and more.
