Together, We Move Forward 

Dear Section Members,

I want to take a moment to recognize the significance of this moment and the collective strength that binds us. These outcomes will undoubtedly shape the landscape of civil rights and social justice for years to come. As members of the ABA Civil Rights and Social Justice Section, we remain steadfast in our mission to defend rights, advance justice, and uphold democracy. Now, more than ever, this work is essential.

Your dedication and resilience are inspiring, and I thank you for your commitment. Our Perfecting Democracy initiative stands at the forefront of this mission, tackling urgent challenges to ensure fair and accessible elections. While this election may have concluded, ongoing battles at local and state levels demand our vigilance. We are called to continue our advocacy for voting rights and election integrity, using our expertise, passion, and vision to forge ahead. 

In this journey, our strength lies in our shared commitment and unwavering pursuit of justice. Now is the time to support one another, to lead boldly, and to push forward with integrity. Whether through policy reform, public education, legal initiatives, or grassroots engagement, each of us plays a crucial role in driving change. Together, we create an unstoppable force for progress grounded in our diverse experiences and dedication to equity.

In the months ahead, let us continue this journey together. Thank you for being part of this vital work. Let us keep pushing forward, knowing that our collective strength and purpose will make a lasting impact.
