HIV/AIDS Impact Project

The HIV/AIDS Impact Project (formerly the AIDS Coordinating Committee) was established in 1987, at the height of the national hysteria about the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Its purpose was, and remains, to identify and address legal and policy issues affecting or affected by the epidemic domestically and internationally, with a view to ensuring the rights of all concerned are respected and protected.

World AIDS Day 2021

In observance of World AIDS Day, this webinar offers a retrospective on the legal, social, and medical struggles and successes associated with HIV/AIDS over the last 40 years. These intersectional perspectives merged to form a new civil rights movement almost overnight, one that continues to this day.
