VAWA Finally Passed – But Where’s Immigration?

Signed by the President on March 15, 2022, the most recent reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) took nearly 5 years and 2 presidential administrations to get through Congress. In April, we hosted “VAWA 2022,” a primer on VAWA and all of what was included. This session focuses on a major omission: immigration. Our esteemed subject matter experts guide you through the current immigration law landscape for gender-based violence survivors and how VAWA moved forward to reauthorization with this massive gaping hole.
