We are excited to announce that the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice and the ABA Commission on Immigration are jointly hosting a virtual screening of “The Undocumented Lawyer” and a Live Q&A! This documentary short film follows Lizbeth Mateo, an attorney who is herself undocumented, as she fights for justice for her clients. The film will premiere on HBO in March of 2021, but you will have access to stream it ahead of release from October 18-24th. The live Q&A with protagonist Lizbeth Mateo and filmmakers will take place on October 21 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
