During the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting, the Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice honored the esteemed Native American Rights Fund Executive Director John E. Echohawk, sponsored two CLE Showcase programs and two non-CLE programs, held three days of business meetings and leadership events, and sponsored eight resolutions adopted by the ABA House of Delegates - all culminating in a successful 2023 ABA Annual Meeting.
On August 7-8, the ABA House of Delegates met in-person in Denver to vote on a wide range of policy issues as part of the 2023 ABA Annual Meeting. The Section sponsored eight resolutions, listed below, and all were approved resoundingly by the House as ABA policy.
