Bullying Prevention Month: How to Prevent Anti-Muslim Bullying in Schools

October is Bullying Prevention Month. Unfortunately, in recent weeks, we've experienced an increase in anti-Muslim student bullying by teachers and students across the country, including incidents in New Jersey and Ohio. With a focus specifically on the bullying of Muslim students, this program features a diverse panel of experts from across the country includes experts from the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the nation's largest civil rights and advocacy group for American Muslims, and the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a research institute focused on the American Muslim community. Panelists share the latest data on bullying statistics impacting the American Muslim community, as well as reports with recommendations on ways to prevent this form of bullying in the future.
