Bail reform is sweeping the country as jurisdictions enact reforms to prevent pretrial detention solely on the basis of inability to pay a set bail amount. Much of this reform has been spurred by successful litigation efforts on behalf of those detained. What then is the future of bail reform and, particularly, bail reform litigation? Hear from two lawyers on the front lines of bail reform litigation on the focus of their current efforts and what they see as the goals of future litigation.
