Section Honors former Chair’s Leadership and Commitment

On Feb. 14, during a reception honored by Arnold and Porter, Rob Weiner received the Section's Father Drinan Award, which recognizes individuals whose sustained and extraordinary commitment has advanced the Section's mission of providing leadership to the legal profession in protecting and advancing human rights, civil liberties, and social justice. Rob Weiner epitomizes this commitment and leadership. ABA President Judy Perry Martinez and President-Elect Trish Refo spoke about Rob’s immense contributions before Section Chair Wendy Mariner presented the award. “Rob has instilled the Section’s principles and values in all [his] endeavors. He is truly an ambassador for the Section’s mission.”
