2025 White Collar Crime Institute

In its 40th year, top federal and state judges, prosecutors, law enforcement officials, defense attorneys, corporate in-house counsel, and academic leaders attended the National White Collar Crime Institute. The faculty regularly includes top members of the white-collar bar in the United States and around the world. In recent years, federal regulators have chosen the Institute as a platform to announce new policies and initiatives, highlighting its status as a premier gathering for white-collar legal professionals. The 2025 Institute will be held March 4-7, 2025, in Miami, Florida.

London White Collar Crime Institute

The twelfth Annual London White Collar Crime Institute took place October 14-15, 2024, when top-flight legal practitioners from across the globe came to London to discuss hot-button issues of global significance to white-collar practitioners. This year’s topics include AI, cryptocurrency, Failure to Prevent Fraud offenses, and espionage defense.

10th Anniversary Southeastern White Collar Crime Institute

This two-day program, held on September 4-6 in Braselton, Georgia, offered numerous topics of interest to the white-collar bar, including a chance to hear from members of the region’s judiciary and US Attorneys. The schedule allowed ample networking opportunities and time to enjoy the resort’s exceptional facilities.

CJS Resolutions Passed at the ABA Annual Meeting

  • Resolution 517 urges all legislative bodies and governmental agencies to enact laws and adopt policies prohibiting law enforcement from knowingly employing or relying upon decaption;
  • Resolution 518 urges governments to adopt investment principles and vehicles that do not include entities that generate at least 20 percent or another designated percentage of their revenue from incarceration facilities and supervision; and
  • Resolution 519 urges all governments and states to adopt forensic genetic genealogy (FGG) legislation.
