Criminal Justice Section–sponsored CLE programs during the ABA Annual Meeting (July 31–August 6, 2024) in Chicago, Illinois, included “Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing: A New Tool for Advancing Justice and Public Safety” and “The Annual Survey of Supreme Court Decisions.”

National Institute on Health Care Fraud

The 34th annual institute took place in Chicago, Illinois, on May 1–3, 2024. The Institute has consistently offered an exceptional review of current legal and ethical issues that arise in connection with the enforcement of health care fraud matters. These issues were discussed during a two-and-a-half-day conference with keynote speakers, panel presentations, and general and confidential workshops for defense and organization counsel and compliance professionals, government counsel and investigators, and relators and other plaintiff’s counsel.
