All attendees should sign in on the requisite sign in form and take a Uniform Certificate of attendance before leaving program.

What are additional requirements for certain states?

New York and Illinois attendees should sign in/out on their respective sign in sheets; a customized certificate of attendance will either be given to you at the conclusion of the program or mailed to you after.

How can I find out about state by state MCLE information?

Click on this link.

We work with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).  The ABA MCLE Department will apply for the credit and provide you with the appropriate documents as long as they are provided sufficient time to process.  You can contact Melissa Betts for additional information.

Can I obtain CPE credit for certain programs?

Yes, the American Bar Association is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
