The following positions are available:

First Vice Chair (must be Other)

In line to become the Chair of the Section. The First Vice Chair shall aid the Chair in the performance of the Chair's responsibilities in the manner and to the extent requested.

Delegate (Prosecution, Defense or Other)

The Section Delegate represents the Section before the Association's House of Delegates. In carrying out this responsibility, the Section Delegates work for passage of Section­ sponsored and Section-supported resolutions before the Association's House of Delegates and exercise the Section's voice and vote on other matters that come before the House in accordance with the policies and views of the Section; make recommendations to the Council regarding matters that may come before the House; report to the Council following each House session concerning actions taken by the House; and otherwise represent the Section, as may be requested by the Chair or the Council. This is a three year term.

Five Vice Chairs at Large (Prosecution, Defense or Other)

Serve on the Section Executive Committee. The Executive Committee consists of the officers of the Section.

[New] Secretary (Prosecution, Defense or Other)

The Secretary ensures that complete and accurate records, including minutes of Council meetings, of Section business and correspondence are maintained; and performs such other duties as may be requested by the Chair or the Council. This is a one year term.

[New] Membership Officer (Prosecution, Defense or Other)

The membership officer promotes recruitment of new Section members, maintains membership records, creates plans to connect with recently dropped members and promotes dues payments. This is a three year term.

Six Council positions (Prosecution, Defense or Other)

The Council is responsible for the administration of the affairs of the Section and has the powers necessary for carrying out that responsibility.

Young Lawyer Council member (Under 36, Prosecution or Defense)
