Learn What Matters to Owners and Developers at the Forum’s 2025 Midwinter Meeting in Tampa, Florida

Andrew P. Atkins and Sanjay Kurian

The 2025 Midwinter meeting is Episode II of the Construction Law 2024/2025 Trilogy.  As a Forum member, you already know that membership offers many valuable opportunities.  Whether you enjoy informative and entertaining meetings in great locations, various well-written publications, or networking opportunities with your Forum friends, there is something for everyone.

The Forum will be hosting the 2025 Midwinter Meeting in sunny Tampa, Florida from January 15 to 17, 2025.  It is time to escape the cold.  You will not want to miss the excellent program!  This meeting is all about critical issues impacting owners and developers.  The program begins strong, as we will hear directly from a who’s who of Tampa owners and developers.  They will share the challenges they have faced and exciting projects they have brought to life.  But the programming does not end there.  There will be eight plenary sessions chock full of information that will be beneficial to your practice.  From dispute resolution boards to project financing to insurance, these are topics you will not want to miss!  And a Forum first, we will certainly be discussing condominium regimes—we are in the state of Florida after all.  Program Co-Chairs Jessica Courtway and Joel Heard have been working tirelessly with Governing Committee Liaison, Tom Dunn, and Forum Chair, Keith Bergeron, to make sure this is a must-attend meeting!

Of course, the content of the meeting will be great, but why not lean on your Forum membership and attendance at the meeting to get all the Forum has to offer.  Network with your Forum friends and colleagues from across the country.  You never know when you could be of service, or they can assist you or your clients.  Meet with vendors and experts that are experienced in the construction industry.  Call on them when your case has a need.  Your Forum friends probably have, so feedback should be readily available.

Enjoy all Tampa has to offer!  It is a vibrant and evolving city.  Enjoy a stroll at the waterfront.  A live Latin band will be there to make sure you are in the Tampa vibe at the welcome reception.  Grab a drink, food, and maybe even a freshly rolled cigar. Attend the Historic Ybor City Sip, Munch, and Stroll Tour and learn about Tampa’s rich history.  Bring the whole family and stay the long Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday weekend for Children’s Gasparilla.

Registration is open!  Additional information and a link to register can be accessed here.  Download a copy of the brochure and Things to Do, so you can see everything this meeting has to offer.  Make sure you are getting all the benefits of your Forum membership!  We will see you in Tampa! #MWM25
