International Training & Reform

Since 2003, the Representation Project has worked with bar associations, defense lawyers, academics, and judges in many death penalty countries to provide technical assistance and training for capital defense lawyers and judges. The Representation Project has also provided important support to foreign lawyers who wish to make changes to their death penalty procedures that will increase fairness and due process protections and improve the quality of defense counsel in capital cases.
