Featured Case

A Marine recruiter with over 18 years of service including a tour in Kuwait and Iraq during Operation Desert Storm is on Death Row in Mississippi without an attorney.

In 2001, on the advice of counsel, the client pled guilty to capital murder without a sentencing agreement from the prosecution. Volunteer counsel will have the opportunity to defend a war veteran and develop claims related to ineffective assistance of counsel, mental illness, and possible judicial error. Please contact the Death Penalty Representation Project if you are interested in learning more about this case.
