Media Alerts on Federal Courts of Appeals
Expert Analysis of Noteworthy Federal Circuit Cases
The Media Alerts on Federal Courts of Appeals Project provides reporters, lawyers, educators, and the public with accurate, unbiased analysis of newsworthy and legally significant cases pending in or decided by the federal courts of appeals.
The news media provides extensive coverage of U.S. Supreme Court cases, but the decisions of the federal appellate courts, which can affect the lives of millions of people, often go unreported. To enhance public awareness about the role and importance of the federal appellate courts, the ABA Standing Committee on Federal Judicial Improvements instituted the Media Alerts Project on Federal Courts of Appeals, which was unveiled at the First Amendment Center in Washington, D.C., on November 18, 2009.
Sign-up for Media Alerts and begin receiving breakdowns of Federal Appellate Court decisions from every circuit. ABA log-in required (sign-up for free). For more information contact Rhandi Anderson at (800) 238-2667 x5682 or email@example.com.
