Formal voluntary pro bono program characterized by a referral system with a coordinator.
Description of Programs
We host a voluntary pro bono challenge, wherein students track their pro bono hours and receive certificates based upon their level of participation. We also host an Alternative Spring Break, and coordinate pro bono activities with legal services providers during the law school spring break in March.

The pro bono staff also supervises public interest programming and counseling and externship administration and grant administration.

Awards/Recognition
Platinum, Gold, Silver, and bronze level awards at annual awards ceremony. Also, there is one winner for the entire challenge. Bronze - 20-39 hours; silver - 40-59 hours; gold - 60-69 hours; platinum, 70+ hours
Alternative Winter or Spring Break Projects
Alternative spring break activities are collaborations between our local legal service providers and the school Examples are clinics, expos, landlord tenant matters.
