This presentation will provide an essential introduction to the rule of law. It will examine why the rule of law is comprised of, not only laws, but also institutions and norms, as well as community commitment. It will highlight how important it is that lawyers, from the beginning of their careers, work with other lawyers and the public to advance the foundational principles of the rule of law, and suggest some ways we can help strengthen the Rule of Law.
