This panel will provide an overview of legal and regulatory considerations that surround international equity capital markets transactions involving Ukrainian companies, with a particular focus on initial public offerings of Ukrainian companies on U.S. and European stock exchanges. Discussion topics will include (1) capital markets reform as a component of post-war Ukrainian reconstruction, (2) readiness of Ukrainian companies for international IPOs from a financial and accounting perspective, (3) general mechanics of IPOs for foreign issuers under U.S. securities laws, (4) general mechanics of IPOs for foreign issuers under European securities laws, and (5) other regulatory considerations.
