The Biden Administration has awarded unprecedented funding to CDFIs as an indicator of the important role that CDFIs play in their respective communities. This panel will explore the unique attributes of CDFIs compared to traditional financial institutions and the complex regulatory considerations that are associated with achieving a CDFI’s community development-oriented mission. This panel will also explore the need for legal services within the CDFI community and the critical role of pro bono.
