Influencer marketing is a powerful force, shaping consumer behavior and brand perception, but for this it puts significant control into the hands of online personalities. This CLE provides a roadmap for attorneys assisting companies with their digital marketing strategy, including FTC guidelines; data privacy obligations; issues of product claims; licensing strategies; name, image, and likeness (NIL or publicity rights); and contractual concerns. Attendees will be able to help clients navigate the regulations and operate influencer partnerships.
