The FTC and the CFPB have increased their scrutiny of digital interfaces and practices that  regulators allege trick or manipulate consumers into taking action.  Regulators have issued enforcement actions, guidance, and reports on these so-called “dark patterns.” This panel will review recent federal and state regulatory developments with “dark patterns” including which digital designs and practices have received the most scrutiny from regulators.
