This panel will discuss the role of regulation and the regulator in the operation and oversight of the gaming industry. We will delve into the legal authority by the legislature, the different models and approaches in various states, the manner by which the regulator enacts rules, the licensure and administrative law process, how the industry generally participates and interacts with the regulatory body, and the relevance of government affairs in shaping the industry.
